    The KLEIN STATORMIX^TM Core Sand Mixer is a new generation of high efficiency mixers capable of high mixing intensity and low resin consumption. It is a compact design offering all of the benefits mentioned above and many more intangible advantages such as improved core release, harder core edges, smoother sand flow in the core box, less cleaning etc.

    The success of this new technology is based on utilizing stator rods in the mixing drum. During a mixing cycle the sand in the STATORMIX^TM Core Sand Mixer is repeatedly accelerated and slowed down, thereby causing intense mixing activity and lowest resin consumption to reach desired core strength.

    Here’s How the Patented KLEIN STATORMIX^TM Core Sand Mixer Works:

    The STATORMIX^TM core sand mixer has two mixing chambers, which are separated by a row of stator bars. Each mixing chamber is equipped with a specially shaped rotor blade mounted on, and driven by a common, horizontal shaft.

    As the rotating blades force the sand back and forth from one mixing chamber, across the stators, into the other mixing chamber, the sand is slowed down every time it passes the stators and then speeds up again, causing division of flow and re-mixing several times per second. This controlled, forceful movement of the sand across the stators causes the highly efficient and intense mixing of the injected binder with the sand.

ACCURATE METERING:

    Individual sand batches are accurately metered by a volumetric batch hopper and dropped by gravity into the mixing chambers. The widely proven binder metering pumps from the KLEIN Vibratory Mixer are also used on the STATORMIX^TM, assuring traditional superior metering accuracy batch after batch.

ABRASION RESISTANT:

    The mixing chambers and rotors are lined with ARX-501, a specially formulated, highly abrasion resistant material, resulting in exceptional long life expectancy for components subject to wear.

EASY CLEANING:

    The mixing chambers are freely accessible by removing the quick clamp, hinged front cover exposing the mixer interior for fast and easy cleaning. A built-in air purge/cleaning cycle assists in complete sand discharge and minimizes cleanup when necessary.
